We will leave from Anacortes, WA on June 1, 2010 heading east to cross the Cascades to Sandpoint, ID. Crossing into Montana, we will visit Glacier National Park and the Riding to the Sun Highway. After a very brief visit into Canada, we will reenter the United States, cross the northern part of ND and head south to Fargo and then the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. Riding into Wisconsin near Osceola, we will wend our way through Wisconsin, north through Conover and then south to Manitowoc to catch a ferry across Lake Michigan. (A well earned break)
Disembarking in Ludington, we will cross Michigan via Bay City, and once again we will enter Canada. We will ride from Wheatley, Ontario along the north shore of Lake Erie, through Port Stanley and on to Buffalo, NY. From Buffalo, Candice and I will follow the route of the Erie Canal to Albany.
Our route from Albany will take us south, briefly into western MA, and then south to Canaan, CT. We will then proceed east to Granby, CT and then follow the East Coast Greenway/ Farmington Canal Route to Hamden, eventually to Hammonasset State Park and the end of our great adventure in Durham, CT.
Well, it wasn't to hard to write it all down, I'm sure the cycling will be more of a challenge!!
