Today began in Tonasket at the Chamber of Commerce RV park, where Michael was awakened by the automatic sprinkler system going on. So we got an early start and spent the day climbing up to Wauconda Pass, at 4,300'. Finally we rode down the other side and arrived in Republic, where we got a motel room and dinner.
Tomorrow's ride is another mountain pass, the highest one yet. So we may take the day off.
