Yesterday, we stopped for the night at a county park outside Brandon, MN, and found ourselves next to two couples. who were seriously stoned on alcohol and meth, I'm guessing. They stayed up until 4AM, and were really loud, so we didn't get much sleep. In the morning,they were crabby and throwing up and still loud. The rest of the campgro. und was pretty much the same.
They were all cursing constantly, which we dubbed, "speaking Minnesotan".
Michael woke up to a flat tire, but he changed it. Then we went out for a great breakfast and set off on the bike trail. Tonight we are camped in the Melrose city park, which is fine.

Quite a come down after a lovely ride, I must say.
ReplyDeleteI hope you two can manage to get the requisite swearing in without the chemical assist. It is so tricky navigating local customs. I have faith and confidence that you will manage.
