We called it mustard when we saw it. Equally pretty were the fields of sunflowers; maybe they are to come. Gardens getting very dry here. Seen your 4some friends again? What do they accomplish for miles per day? I can't imagine doing it in less than a year, can you? Love, Mother
ReplyDeleteThey do about 35 miles a day, and will be home in time for Jane to start kindergarten. They will take a train through the mountainous parts. We won't see them again because they are going east to west from Florida and are already 2 1/2 months into it.
