Lots of Nature

This afternoon, we chose an alternate route that would only add a couple of miles, get us out of traffic, and take us through a nature preserve. Well, that was all true, but the map said 4 1/2 miles would be gravel, but it was more like 12 miles. The preserve was beautiful in the same way that this part of Montana is beautiful, but the nature being preserved turned out to be mostly grasses.
Around dusk, the mosquitos again drove us indoors - this time at the Sleeping Buffalo Hot Spring. This is a huge, rambling place built in the 1930's around a natural mineral spring.
